Most electromagnetic materials are designed for one fixed response, one narrow operating window or one non-structural task. UMBRA explores a harder proposition: a material architecture that can be tuned, can manage more than one interaction domain and can remain useful as part of an engineered surface.

Reinventy's accumulated knowledge helps Alchemi recognise failure modes, manufacturability constraints and useful trade spaces earlier.
