Two briefs. One governed path from intent to evidence

Reinventy has released Alchemi V3.9, introducing Hephaestus as the first programme in its sovereign materials and bio-intelligence platform.

Hephaestus receives two concise inputs—a desired-material brief and an application brief—and coordinates a governed in-silico R&D project across Discovery, private compute, model validation, evidence, Hangar, Archive and a draft-only Factory handoff.

The programme is designed to solve a central weakness in AI-assisted scientific discovery: generating a plausible candidate is easy; preserving the evidence, disagreement, uncertainty and human decisions required to make that candidate useful is hard. Hephaestus keeps every candidate attached to its sources, model lineage, constraint set, scoring rationale and maturity boundary.

The current programme closes 27 of 27 end-to-end gates and produces a human-reviewable shortlist of one or two finalists. It performs zero automatic promotions. A finalist remains an in-silico candidate until separately authorized physical work, traceable measurements, independent validation and an explicit industrialization decision close the evidence gap.

Alchemi V3.9 now combines governed inverse design, a private compute fabric, multiple scientific engines, materials knowledge, BioFoundry, the Physical Factory, evidence ledgers, bilingual interaction and controlled connected capabilities. Core R&D remains sovereign and offline; optional external calls are minimized, receipt-gated and inspectable before dispatch.

For industrial and scientific partners, the commercial proposition is not access to another public AI tool. Reinventy uses Alchemi to structure proprietary development programmes—from a material objective to a controlled physical pilot and a traceable decision on industrialization.
