Building Reinventy from the ground up
Reinventy is entering a new phase of growth. Following a strengthening of our capital base and corporate structure, we are opening a series of strategic positions to build the company from the ground up across advanced materials, solid-state energy storage, high-performance electric drives, secure edge-AI platforms, and autonomous systems.
Our hiring model is intentionally different:
We do not start from location.
We start from competence, integrity, and fit with our technology stack.
Many of our R&D, engineering, and software positions are open to candidates from any country, with remote-first or hybrid collaboration models. Some roles—particularly those related to corporate governance, finance, and certain laboratory or hardware activities—will remain anchored in Canada (Victoria – Vancouver, BC), where Reinventy is headquartered.
We use a proprietary, security-hardened application and document-management environment. All candidate data are handled under Canadian and applicable international privacy frameworks, with strict access controls and auditability.
We will begin structured screening of candidates between January and February 2026, and progressively start collaborations and employment contracts from early 2026 onward.

Language Requirements & Global Collaboration
Given Reinventy’s strong international orientation and our multi-country operational model, multilingual proficiency is a key factor in our selection process.
All candidates should ideally possess solid working ability in English, French, and Italian, as these are the primary communication languages across our teams, partners, and research programs.
Additional languages—whether European, Asian, or Middle Eastern—will be regarded as a significant added value, especially for roles involving international collaboration, cross-border R&D, and global technical coordination.
1. Advanced Materials & Metamaterials R&D
(XHT™, NEMESIS™, SMARTPAD XHT™, Nickel X™, Reinlight™)
Typical profiles:
Senior Materials Scientist – Ultra-High-Temperature Composites
Materials Scientist – Stealth & Metamaterials
Process Engineer – SPS / HIP / Advanced Ceramics
Polymer & Resin Systems Specialist – Structural Stealth Resins
Lab & Characterization Engineer (SEM/TEM, DSC, TGA, rheology)
What you will work on:
Design and optimization of UHTC composites and metamaterials for hypersonics, aerospace, and energy systems.
Development of stealth epoxy matrices and self-monitoring ceramic structures.
Process definition for spark plasma sintering (SPS), HIP, SLA-based pre-ceramic processing, and advanced coatings.
Mechanical, thermal, and EM characterization; model-driven formulation.
Preferred background:
PhD/MSc in Materials Science, Ceramics, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or related fields.
Experience with high-temperature materials, composites, or metamaterials.
Familiarity with aerospace/defense environments is a plus.
Location:
Global / Remote-friendly for design, simulation, and formulation roles.
Canada HQ preferred for lab-heavy processing and pilot-scale operations.
2. Energy Storage & Electrochemistry
(LIMAXA™ solid-state Al-ion, NECE – Nickel Embedded Conductive Electrodes)
Typical profiles:
Battery Scientist – Solid-State Aluminum-Ion Systems
Electrochemical Engineer – Cell Design & Scale-Up
Battery Test & Validation Engineer
Electrode Design Engineer – Filamentary and Structured Collectors
What you will work on:
Architecture and optimization of solid-state aluminum-ion cells (LIMAXA™).
Design of filament-embedded electrodes and advanced current collectors (NECE).
Electrochemical test matrices, BOL/EOL analysis, failure-mode mapping.
Translation from lab formulations to pilot-scale and industrial processes.
Preferred background:
PhD/MSc in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics.
Solid-state batteries, ionic liquids, or advanced cell formats experience.
Experience with battery safety, abuse testing, or recycling is a plus.
Location:
Global / Remote-friendly for modeling, design, and data analysis.
Canada HQ preferred for prototyping and physical testing.
3. Electromagnetics, Motors & Power Electronics
(AeroMag™, AeroMag™ Motors, Mag-FOC™, PPMT Motor)

Motor Design Engineer – Axial-Flux & High-Power Density Drives
Electromagnetic Design Engineer – Soft-Magnetic Composites

What you will work on:
Design of axial-flux and radial motors using AeroMag™ composites and advanced topologies.
Development of high-current, high-voltage drive electronics (Mag-FOC™ platform).
Implementation and tuning of field-oriented control, flux-weakening strategies, and efficiency maps.
Experimental validation, NVH analysis, and long-duration stress testing.
Preferred background:
MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics or related fields.
Hands-on experience with motor design tools (FEM), power electronics, and control.
Exposure to automotive/aerospace EV, eVTOL, or robotics is a plus.
Location:
Global / Remote-friendly for design & simulation roles.
Canada HQ preferred for test lab and integrated powertrain rigs.
4. Edge AI, Embedded Systems & Autonomy
(Reinventy Shield™ / Shield V2, Synthetic Pilot Architecture™, S.L.I.M. Drone, Predict-M™, Buddy AI Assistant)

Embedded Software Engineer – NVIDIA Jetson / SoC Edge Platforms

What you will work on:
Implementation of the Synthetic Pilot Architecture™ (Prefrontal–Guardian–Realtime cores) on tactical edge hardware.
Development of Reinventy Shield™ V2 capabilities: mission servers, swarm control, secure CI/CD and secrets management.
Integration of perception (vision, LiDAR, radar) with high-assurance decision layers.
Tooling and pipelines for fully air-gapped, security-hardened operations.
Preferred background:
Strong C/C++/Rust and embedded Linux; experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge platforms.
Familiarity with robotics frameworks, real-time systems, DevSecOps practices.
Knowledge of AI safety, functional safety or cyber-physical security is a strong plus.
Location:
Global / Remote-friendly for software and architecture roles.
Canada HQ or strategic hubs for integrated hardware testbeds and field trials.
5. Software Platforms, Data & Interfaces
(Portals, web front-end for AI Assistant Buddy, internal tools)
Typical profiles:
Full-Stack Developer – Next.js / React / Node
Backend Engineer – APIs, Data Pipelines, Integration
UX/UI Designer – Technical and Operator Interfaces
Data Engineer – R&D and Operations Data Fabric
What you will work on:
Building and maintaining internal and external portals (shareholders, shield portals, knowledge dashboards).
Integrating Buddy (our AI Assistant) into operational workflows and customer-facing experiences.
Structuring data pipelines for R&D, test benches, and production environments.
Designing usable, high-signal interfaces for complex, engineering-driven workflows.
Preferred background:
Experience with modern web stacks (React/Next.js, TypeScript, Node).
Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, secure API design.
Previous exposure to industrial/engineering UX is a plus.

6. Quality, Certification, Safety & Cybersecurity

What you will work on:
Defining quality standards, test plans, and reliability programs across materials, batteries, drives and AI systems.
Supporting certification paths (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178/254 context, EU AI Act alignment).
Designing and auditing security architectures for edge nodes, UAV command systems, and internal infrastructures.
Preferred background:
Experience in quality, safety, or certification of high-reliability systems.
Understanding of cyber-physical risk and secure-by-design principles.

7. Operations, Industrialization & Supply Chain

Translating R&D outputs into robust, scalable processes and pilot lines.

Experience in high-tech industrialization, operations, or supply chain (materials, energy, aerospace, electronics).
